Ginger boost green smoothie
When the whole family has been woken all night by the little ones and it’s an early start, a green smoothie with plenty of ginger is the wake up needed.
My 7 year old loves this alongside spelt pancakes for breakfast (pancake recipe to follow).
For the smoothie:
One Apple 🍏
Frozen pineapple chunks 🍍
Coconut water 🥥 (as much as you need to get the consistency you like to your smoothie)
Big handful of Spinach (or use frozen spinach - an amazing freezer addition)
Chunk of Fresh ginger (peeled)
1/2 - 1 lemon squeezed 🍋
Just BLEND & Enjoy!
